the artwork which the purchasers have graciously allowed to
stay on exhibit at the Duveneck Center in our window

The Frank Duveneck Arts & Cultural
Center partners with local schools to
provide artistic educational opportunities
for Covington students.
"Let It Shine"
John G. Carlisle after school program, serving John G. Carlisle
Elementary and Thomas Edison Elementary students. Duveneck
Center dance instructors, Lexie Anderson and Sarah Statt, teach
a fusion of dance from ballet to hip hop. Kim Gerwe teaches
visual arts.
Duveneck Center artist and performer, Chris Guthrie, teams with
instructors at Glenn O. Swing Elementary to incorporate artistic
education into the curriculum for fifth grade students, during the
school day. New in 2008, FDACC p
rovides dance programming to
third graders. You should see how the progress they are making
in partner dancing merengue!  Truly, the arts make learning fun!
The Kentucky Arts
Council, a state agency in
the Commerce Cabinet,
provides operational
support funding for The
Frank Duveneck Arts &
Cultural Center with state
tax dollars and federal
funding from the National
Endowment for the Arts,
which believes that a great
nation deserves great art.
